Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

AutoClip is operated by AUTO CLIP LLC, a Florida limited liability company. AutoClip is a content production platform at autoclip.cloud that helps podcast and video creators turn long-form video into short clips and podcast episodes, and publish them to the creator's own channels and podcast hosts.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can remove it. It covers our handling of data obtained through Google APIs, including YouTube.

1.Information you give us

2.Google and YouTube data we access

You connect a YouTube channel to AutoClip through Google's OAuth consent screen. That screen shows exactly what you are granting, and nothing happens without your approval. We access the following, and only the following:

WhatWhyGoogle scope
Uploading video to your channel, and setting the thumbnail To publish the clips you have reviewed and approved youtube.upload
Your channel's name, ID, and thumbnail To show you which channel you are publishing to youtube.readonly
Video and playlist metadata — titles, descriptions, video IDs, publish dates To detect new episodes on a playlist you nominate, and to keep clip titles and descriptions consistent with the source show youtube.readonly
Audio from videos on a playlist you have nominated To produce the podcast episode you asked us to produce youtube.readonly
Adding a published clip to a playlist on your channel To file each clip into the playlist you designated during setup youtube
Your name and email address To create and identify your AutoClip account openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile

We do not read, modify, or delete videos on your channel that AutoClip did not create. We do not access your comments, subscribers, analytics, or private messages. We do not access any Google account data beyond what is listed above.

Nothing publishes automatically without your configuration. Clips publish when you approve them. The podcast sync publishes on a schedule only for the specific playlists you have set up and enabled, and you can disable any of them at any time.

3.Your Google credentials

When you connect a channel, Google issues AutoClip an access token and a refresh token. These are stored encrypted at rest on our infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform, and are used only to perform the actions described in section 2 on your behalf.

We never share your tokens with anyone, and we never use them for any purpose other than delivering the features you have configured.

You can revoke AutoClip's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting the channel inside AutoClip. Disconnecting in AutoClip deletes the stored tokens for that channel.

4.Service providers

We use a small number of processors. Each receives only what it needs.

About AI processing

AutoClip uses third-party AI services to transcribe your audio and to identify clip-worthy segments. This processing happens only to produce the output you requested. Your content and any data obtained from Google APIs are not used to train or improve any AI model, by us or by our providers. Our agreements with these providers prohibit it.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as listed in this section, and only to deliver the features you have asked for.

5.Limited use of Google user data

AutoClip's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6.How long we keep things

Content already published to your YouTube channel or podcast host lives on those platforms and is governed by their terms. Deleting your AutoClip account does not remove anything already published — you control that on the destination platform.

7.Deleting your data

8.Security

Data is stored in Google Cloud Platform. Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Stored data, including OAuth tokens, is encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it.

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you.

9.Children

AutoClip is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10.Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we handle your data, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
